Established subdivision
Winding Creek
Mature subdivision on Lafayette's south side with a mix of two-story colonials and ranches. Most homes already have wood privacy or vinyl in the back yard — design committee tends to push back on chain link and natural-finish wood that hasn't been stained.

Saddlebrook
Family-oriented neighborhood with newer builds. Larger lots than the older Lafayette subdivisions, so back-yard fence runs are often longer than expected — worth measuring carefully before committing to a material.

Lindberg Village
West-side subdivision with consistent lot sizes and a uniform aesthetic. The HOA leans toward materials that match the existing housing stock — vinyl in light tones is the most commonly approved.

Raineybrook
One of Lafayette's largest subdivisions, with hundreds of homes and an active HOA. Lots are typical suburban size — back-yard privacy fence runs of 150–200 ft are common.

Sterling Heights
South-side subdivision with sidewalks, street lights, and well-maintained ranch and two-story homes. About 15 minutes from Purdue.

Lexington Farms
East-side subdivision with a neighborhood park and good schools. The HOA maintains common areas; design review is light but covenants do specify materials.

Brookfield Heights
Established Lafayette neighborhood with several hundred homes. Mature trees throughout — fence layouts often need to work around large root systems.
See rules →New build
Cobblestone
Newer south-side subdivision with homes by Tempest and Majestic. Feeds into Wea Ridge / McCutcheon schools. Tighter design covenants than older Lafayette subdivisions.
