We're a small fence-install crew in Indiana. We collect the smallest amount of information we can to give you an estimate, schedule a build, and keep the website working. This page tells you what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
Who we are

What we collect
When you use the estimator
- The address you enter and the property outline you draw on the satellite map
- Fence type, height, linear footage, gates, and any notes you add
- Your name, email, and phone — only if you submit an estimate or contact form
When you submit a contact or quote form
- Name, email, phone, ZIP, and the message you write
Automatic, when you visit any page
- Standard server logs: IP address, user agent, referrer, the URL you requested, and timestamps
- Analytics events (page views, scroll, button clicks, form submissions) via Google Analytics 4
- Advertising-conversion signals via Google Ads if you arrived from one of our ads (so we know which ads work and stop wasting money on the ones that don't)
- Browser local storage we use to remember your in-progress estimate so you don't lose it if the tab reloads
We don't sell your information. We don't ship it off to data brokers. We don't run third-party ad pixels beyond Google.
How we use it

- To schedule a measure, a build, and warranty service
- To measure which marketing channels actually bring in real jobs
- To keep the site fast, working, and free of abuse
- To meet our legal and tax obligations as a licensed Indiana contractor
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business. Each of them gets the minimum amount of data required to do their job:
- Cloudflare — hosts the website and the lead-intake API. Cloudflare sees standard request logs.
- Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps Platform) — measures traffic and conversions, and powers the address autocomplete and the satellite map in the estimator. Google's privacy policy applies to data Google collects directly: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Email and scheduling tools we use internally to reply to leads and book appointments.
- Subcontractors and vendors involved in your specific job (materials suppliers, occasional install partners) — only the address, scope, and contact info needed to do the work.
- Law enforcement or courts if we're legally required to.
If we ever sell the business, customer records would transfer with it. We'll update this page if that happens.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar storage for three purposes:
- Necessary — to keep your in-progress estimate and remember which prospect-view link you opened. Without these the site doesn't work.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (
G-YYL1GFXWJG) sets cookies so we can see aggregate traffic patterns. - Advertising — Google Ads (
AW-18119973180) sets cookies so we can measure ad conversions.
You can clear cookies anytime in your browser, install Google's analytics opt-out, or use private/incognito mode to skip them altogether.
How long we keep it
- Lead and estimate records: kept while you are an active prospect or customer, plus seven years for tax and warranty reasons.
- Server and analytics logs: typically up to 26 months.
- Customer job files (drawings, photos, contracts): kept for the life of the warranty.
Your rights
Whatever state you're in, you can email [email protected] to:
- See what we have on file about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete it (we'll honor that unless we're required to keep it for tax or warranty reasons)
- Opt out of marketing emails or texts
Indiana, California, and a handful of other states have specific consumer-privacy laws — those rights are covered by the bullet list above. We'll respond within 45 days.
Children
The site isn't directed at kids under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a minor sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
Lead data travels over HTTPS and is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We keep access tight — only people on the Get Fenced! team see customer records. That said, no website is bullet-proof. If we ever discover a breach affecting you, we'll tell you and the appropriate authorities.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and, for big changes, post a note on the homepage.
